WEATHER FORECAST FOR OCTOBER 21, 2024: SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT WITH SCATTERED AND INTERMITTENT PRECIPITATION.

The cold drop disturbance that brought overcast skies across Italy and heavy rainfall in some regions, with major flooding, is pushed back toward the South-West by an anticyclonic structure expanding from Eastern Europe toward Central Europe. This will keep the disturbance further away from the Peninsula, but it will still make its effects felt especially in the Tyrrhenian regions for a few more days.

Monday 21 October. The sky over Abruzzo is still mostly cloudy this morning, with residual light precipitation scattered especially on the Adriatic side. Over the course of the hours the clouds will gradually thin out and with them the possibility of further precipitation. Temperatures will always be relatively mild thanks to the prevailing winds from the South-East, with highs around 18-20°C. The winds will be weak to moderate in intensity.

Tuesday, October 22. Tomorrow the day will open with mostly clear skies, while in the afternoon a disturbed front will arrive from the South that will cover the entire regional territory, with the potential to trigger scattered showers of light entity. Temperatures in line with those of the previous day.

Wednesday, October 23. The day after tomorrow is expected to be an uncertain and mostly cloudy day, still with the possibility of scattered precipitation.
